Originally from Danbury, CT, Alan Schmitt currently lives in Charleston, SC with his wife Natasha. Alan plays guitar, bass guitar, and the Cuban tres and performs in a variety of different bands in different musical genres throughout the southeast. Alan obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Jazz Performance from the College of Charleston in 2015, studying under the mentorship of Tyler Ross, Robert Lewis, Quentin Baxter, Frank Duvall, Tommy Gill, and Dave Heywood.
